We must become consciously aware of our unconscious conditioning. It is almost like the countries of this world are divided like sports teams, and we are taught from a birth that the good ol’ USA is the best team out there, but the truth is world is not sports teams, and flags and borders are irrelevant. War is not a game, it is a business that makes a few small groups of people a shit ton of money. Congratulations, divide and conquer is still working.
We are not the only ones to blame here. On the other side of the pond, they are also taught that their team is the best, and to stop at nothing to silence the power of the world’s greatest superpower. If you want my opinion, it is just like Standard Oil supplying goods to both the axes and allies in World War II. Somewhere down the line, someone on both sides of the conflict is pulling for conflict, while the middle class, lower class, and marginal populations of all sides send their youth to fight, and perhaps die for “freedom.” What does that word even mean anymore? The only freedom you have is to choose what toothpaste you have, and what you will watch on television after work.
The western world seeks to create structure and order in the world, just as the left brain seeks to create structure and order within the body, whiles the eastern world, is the feminine creative force, which is focused much more on the spirit (e.g. Hinduism, Buddhism, Sufism, and ECT). It is no coincidence that the west is at war with the east. It is the struggle that each of us is going through internally as well. The fact of the matter is that you can never remove the darkness from yourself. It is a part of you, a part of all of us. We cannot go to war over evil; we must instead accept our shadow and move into the light. No one is ever going to be perfect, and it is that understanding that accepts the fault in all man, and helps to teach us the way to live.
We are taught from a very young age that we are fragile, and that we are ugly, and that we are weak. We are taught to hate ourselves. We spend every minute of every day judging our own actions, and deifying those of the egomaniacal celebrity class, comparing their looks, fashion, wealth, and power to that of our own. No wonder we are never satisfied with what we have. It is in your programming to want that which is just out of reach, no matter how much money you possess. There is a hunger within this society today, and it is not a hunger for money, material possessions, or power, but a hunger for more.
When you see someone fall in the street, and laugh, it is not because you think it is funny, you laugh for the fear that it may be you lying there one day. We single out and judge others for fear that we will one day be judged. We are played against each other like avatars in a video game, and we just stand by and allow it to happen, arguing issues that we have no business even worrying about.
This system will never work, because we spend too much time making laws and arguing who is allowed to be married, and not enough time on real problems. Gay marriage is not a problem; it is an issue of liberty, which we are allotted in the constitution. Any person can love whomever they choose, that is not an issue for elected officials to discuss, but one that is worth talking about is why are we still raping our planet for resources, and fighting over those resources, when we should instead be working together to fix what has been broken. We have outgrown the societal model in which we live, and until the disease of humanity is addressed, we will never move past this point. As Einstein said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
You are a tiny piece universe, and when you look out in to the world, it is your eyes that are the eyes of the universe seeing itself. Every living thing is a part of the creator itself, and is experiencing creation through the eyes of “God.” God did not create the universe, God became the universe, and everything within the universe is the existence itself, experiencing what it is to be.
